Coating - Oil States International, Inc.

Oil States Houston has the experience and capacity to design a coating system to insure the protection of the equipment in its environment either in operation or storage. It also has the capability to apply the coatings under controlled conditions. We work in conjunction with coating materials and supplier to apply the system correctly. In addition we have approved sub-vendors that can apply special coatings such as Xylan. The coating can be tested to insure it is holiday free, the proper thickness and has adhered to the base material. The following list describes the areas and equipment which enhances our coating program.

Coatings

   • 13,000 sq. ft. designated building (Which can be enclosed off and heated to provide an enlarged
     paint booth area)
   • Enclosed blast room (20' x 20' x 20')
   • Enclosed and controlled paint booth (20' x 20' x 20' with gal drying unit)
   • 3 acre outdoor blast area
   • Electric and Diesel compressors
   • Multiple blast capability
   • Quality System certified to ISO 9001:2000 with document packages
   • Coordination with 3rd party inspection agencies
   • All necessary equipment for the application of the material
   • All necessary equipment to perform the inspection and testing of the applied coatings

Our paint building, with its blast and paint booths, allows the coating process to continue in almost any weather conditions. Daily reports and inspections are made and a final coating data book is presented to the customer upon completion of the project.
