Oil States Houston offers several systems for emergency diverless repair of damaged pipelines at depths to 10,000 ft, using proven components. Three of the systems involve replacing a damaged pipeline section with a jumper or spoolpiece, the fourth uses a structural clamp to repair a leak when the pipeline is not severed.
The first option requires recovering the pipeline to surface (to weld on pipeline end manifolds prior to installing a jumper subsea). |

| In the other three options, the entire repair procedure is performed on the seafloor, so a construction-type DSV or RSV vessel can be used, reducing cost and improving vessel availability, which can be critical in emergency situations. |
