| The FlexJoint® Tendon Bearing adopts the same proven laminated spherical bearing technology used in Oil States Drilling FlexJoint® and SCR FlexJoint®. Adaptation of the FlexJoint® to the Tendon Bearing application provides the high axial loading capacity and cocking action required to eliminate fatigue damage to the tendon at the top and bottom connections. Furthermore the simplicity of the Tendon Bearing configuration adds to its versatility in application to various top and bottom connector designs. |
