Oil States Industries' structural test laboratory offers an extensive range of facilities to third party clients. The laboratory has the capability to simulate typical and extreme service loading on a variety of structures, for the purposes of product assessment, prototype development, generation of design data and validation of analytical models.
• The Test Laboratory offers comprehensive testing
services including tension, compression with
combinations of internal & external pressure with
bend. Extreme temperature cycling with gas or
hydrostatic pressure available.
• Trouble-shooting and commissioning engineers
are available around the clock, using portable
data acquisition equipment for a variety of tasks,
including structural load monitoring. Data can be
promptly analysed by Oil States' stress engineers to
solve problems and reduce downtime.
• Oil States can arrange for the witnessing of any test
by approved authorities such as Lloyds Register, Det
Norske Veritas or the American Bureau of Shipping.
• The Test Laboratory has been accredited by the
United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS)
since 1992, and internationally recognised for the
competence of laboratories BS/EN/ISO/IEC 17025.
